Neon Jumper - Bouncy Plasma Insect

Plasma Walker added 4 months ago

Introducing Neon Jumper, a plasma insect bot with high mobility.

Basic weapon set : 7 Plasma Devastator

Options : 7 Nano Mender or 7 SMG Disintegrator (gun mount adjustments needed)

Insect bots always had problem with mobility and HP.
I intended to solve this major problems and this is the result.

But the first thing : Camera Control + Camera Relative Tilt required.
This bot will not work with keyboard controls because insect bots have major bug with keyboard controls (they will run forever if you do not brake.)

And now, the major points of this build :

1. Vertical & Side thrusters
This bot has many small vertical thruster heading downwards, which gives the bot ability of rectifying in the air. Also, using Cam Tilt, you can stick to the vertical wall very easily. Moreover, vertical thruster with cam tilt gives the bot extra downforce when it climbs over a hill, preventing flipping.

2. Double layer of shields on the front.
This bot has Double layer of EP-E in front (total 4 of them), which gives the bot ability to stand against 1 vs 1 fight, giving enemies full barrage

How to play : Use Cam tilt mode. Holding jumping key will allow you unbind your camera with tilt while jumping. If you let go the jump key while you are in the air, you can turn with the camera control. Make sure not to change camera to quickly towards to the sky or ground. It will make you flip.

If you get used to it, this bot is hell a lot of fun :)

CPU load is based on main weapon set.

Sorry had to give only 7 on the creative aspect because it reminds me too much of Awesome_Soul's insect mechs. Still think it's a good bot though. Think I will buy it.

This design is not that creative design. Many people could easily come up with this kind of thing.
