Duality

Plasma Sled added 1 year ago

A plasma-smg gunbed hybrid, this sled has 8 of each in full (relative) frontal mode.

My White Wind sled is a breeze to control compared to this one, since to use the smgs other than stationary, you need to drive in reverse. Preferably switching directions and fire mode while sliding and twisting past surprised enemies.

Basic usage:
Engage and kite with plasma, finish (and AA) with smg :)

I know this is my bias, but I think you should reduce the gun count for superior turning speed. Overall very interesting robot - something that takes full use with the new multi weapon system. Does it function for league arena?

This was designed more for fun. It can work, but it's a pain to quickly reverse all controls to use the SMG effectively.
Tactic I used on it so far is sneak up, blast with plasma, reverse and finish with smg.

The plasma does allow for a better initial engage than my other ski bot :)
After reaching P-5 I haven't played much on league, since there's nothing to gain.

Good as long as you don't go off a cliff ^^
Then it's 50-50

The bigger issue is controlling it decently in reverse :)

1) I don't understand the use of so many skis and plasmas. 6 plasmas is enough, and 1-2 ski is enough

2)EP is horrible in the protoseeker meta, you should replace EP with more armor

Redundancy never hurts... unless you can of course spend the cpu better elsewhere.
Currently I however liked to go more for fun than logic with my design :)

As for shields, I still have the faint hope they'll make them sensible to have again. I just like how it looks ^^
If I play more seriously with this one I might change that yeah.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.
