Alien Slug

SMG Cruiser added 1 week ago

This is another horrifying bot designed to strike fear into the souls of your enemies, causing them to flail around the map as they flee in terror: Alien Slug! It's just so big and slimy looking and squishy looking and just ewwwwwww! It's 8 red eyes seem to follow you wherever you go. It has so many tiny legs, and most people are afraid of bugs with lots of tiny legs. But it's big, so it has big...tiny...legs? Look at those big, sharp, bug teeth ready to eat anything unfortunate enough to cross this slug's path. Let's not forget the green slime trail it leaves behind it as it lurks around the map, searching for its next prey.

Most of the blocks are concentrated in the front and mid section, with a triforced central core, so it will take a whole lot of hacking away with a distorter or mortar to try and cut this thing in half. It has 18 wheels, all triforced so if you lose one, the damage shouldn't knock off another one, and all wheels are protected by an outer layer of blocks. Each section (front, middle, rear) has 6 wheels: 4 steering and 2 non-steering, so even if you lose 2 sections of wheels, you can still steer and turn. The 12 guns are all mounted on short rods, so it can be difficult to de-gun this thing too. In short, this was made to sit on cap points and brawl with any other bot. It'll win most 1v1, sometimes 2v1, maybe some 3v1 if they're low health, because it takes so long to whittle this thing down. It's great if you want to be the tank on your team, getting in the enemies' faces while your higher dps allies can sit back and shoot the enemy safely.

Please check out the short video I made of my Halloween bots :D
Alien Slug is the last bot in the video :)

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
