Survolt (with video:)

Medic Cruiser added 5 months ago

This is a model of a DS Survolt found in the game Asphalt8. I spent a long time on details using the 3D model from the game to build my own. One detail that eluded me was the emblem on the front grill of the car. I tried glass, aero rods, blocks, and someone suggested a league badge, but nothing looked even close, so I chose to just represent the basic shape of the grill opening there.

But the outside wasn't the challenge, oh no. The inside took me days of trial and error to get right. I like my cars to go around 215 mph minimum speed in TDM, and to be able to drift a bit and do 180 degree turns when needed. This car had more weight than any previous car I've made, and I had a very difficult time getting in the thrusters I needed for speed and turning, while trying to reduce weight and make sure the car can take some good damage and still survive.

Please watch the video XD

It's in the CRF under the name "Survolt"

Perfectly built! In robocraft hard to build something similar, but it's pretty well done. It would be even better if you're a little craft pulled forward to the same CPU should be enough.

Awesome job!!!
You could add A or C in grill, and hood vent in in front of windshield, tail lights glass inner and corner, cool idea for exhaust, but I like to see flames when I press throttle :))

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.
