Viperfish Mini IV

Medic Hover added 5 months ago

This is the second published bot in my Mini series.

Intros out of the way, this bot is kinda strange, which is reminiscent of the creature the bot was named after.
This bot is an asymmetrical hover that functions as a medic and damage dealer. It has great speed and durability despite it's seemingly exposed parts. The main purpose of the bot is to support allies and deal burst damage. The smgs are meant for self-defense and pick damage. The nanos on the bottom provide assistance. For the several tests I've run it through, I found that the bot works well in all gamemodes as long as there is reliable teammates to heal.

Extra Facts:
~my first asymmetrical bot. It was a headache to build and keep everything balanced.
+another rudder for balance because of centralized hover blades
-smgs have low fire rate due to locations
+nanos are extremely effective
-unless the unit is physically higher than you
+can survive is half is blown off because of hover redundancy in each end of the bot
-i'm still a novice at editing pictures ;-;
~total health=1,128,895
~total shields=267,168
+has an interesting look, but feels the same as any other hover
-sensitive to random bumps sticking out of the mountain
~was going to be the barracuda, but ended up too weird
~for reference, cubes selected represent gear used on bot

Edit: I don't know why all the screenshots came out so tiny. I'll redo them all. Including the topscore. Shouldn't be hard.
Edit2: While playing for a new scoreboard, this happened. We lost. But my score in the middle of the winning teams because of how well I did. Though this would be funnier to post.

this reminds me of the robot enemies that swim underwater in the awesome horror game, SOMA. Check it out if you haven't, it's WAY better than Amnesia series.

Trust me. This thing is really good. Look at that scoreboard. I did better than half the enemy team, even after they got 2x bonus for winning.
I also get constant top ranks with this. Its good. Trust me.

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?
