M-12 Perdix Remastered

Plasma Bomber added 5 months ago

Slight rework of my original M-12 Perdix
Heli/Plane combo allows it to perform some interesting maneuvers only possible with the hybrid of movements, quite tough and rod- and strut-forced on the inside :)
Armed with Laser Vaporiser and Plasma Devastator
-1,713 pFlops (for old time's sake :P)
-Will post on the CRF upon commenter's request (Just ask!)
**Note to self don't build to many helis in the future because they look terrible in the thumbnail ;-;

looks good, but i find those heli plane hybrids very weird and hard to control... maybe i just made mine wrong :)

That is certainly a pretty helicopter you have there! It reminds me of old designs of mine that used the same rotor configuration, except for the fact that my designs were much thicker and contained thrusters inside the chassis instead of outside. They also weren't hybrids, so that definitely caught my eye. My only question is, wouldn't such a design be slower and a bigger target due to this hybrid combination? It certainly won't die easily, I can tell due to the parts used. But it seems like it would be a massive target for flaks. Just curious.

I made the original when flak was just added, and it was slower than this however most people used rails to counter planes and they'd shoot for the rotors, which would instantly speed this robot up for a quick get away! Thanks for the ratings :)

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
