Practical Robot

Blood Vessel MKII

Ion Hover added 1 year ago

Re-designed and re-built from valuable advice given in comments on my Equaliser bot.
Scrapped the strut armour idea. This enabled more front end block work to eat up hits.
Used 4 cheetah boosters externally this time, leaving internal room for 10 Tempest hovers, power and ghost module. Big shotties use some damage redirection (to the best of my knowledge) to keep the functional parts intact for escape. I still find the ION's a heavy hitter and they really take apart those Shurikens ( or W*#ker wheels as i like to call them ). First battle netted 7 kills 15,000+ dmg. I was pretty happy with the results. A few stats below

Speed: 185mph at OC1 and 225mph at OC15
Mass: 5,480kg ( 10 Tempests carry mass of 6680kg )
Health: 1,234,380......Ave CPU 707

Big shout out to "Coornio"....cheers for the constructive advice......your a champion mate

PS to All: I know I've built a few of these bots but they are improving all the time with great advice.

Very nice work, glad to see my advice helped you make it even better :)
The stats seem top notch for the parts you're wearing, and the 10 hovers will definitely help you stay afloat and gently drift away much to the annoyance of your opposition :P

I would have opted for a radar as well to avoid sneakies but if you're confident in your awareness it shouldn't be a problem. It definitely seems like a tough one to take down :D

Any plans for a small curbstomping video?

Thx again mate your advice was a big part of this build. Agreed a radar would go well but i pushed it to the limit cpu wise and left no room. Over time i'll make more tweaks and squeeze one on hopefully.
Ill see if i can drop a video on here soon.....might even edit some tunes in there as well. Just learnt to send email the other day so should be fun making a vid. Ha ha...Cheers mate

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.
