kc_HoverPlasma V0.3

Plasma Megabot added 2 years ago

Here is my current work in progress. A Tx-1 regenerator hover plasma. The plates are strung together and everything that is important is attached directly to an EP. All 6x plasma cannons, all 4x hover blades, and even the cockpit is directly attached to an EP. It's really tricky to stick together. If more people are interested in this build, I'll post construction photos and accurate blocks. I'm Still testing it out and making fine adjustments here and there. I'm replacing all blocks with the smallest ammount of TX-1 prism and tetras that I can to make it as light as possible.

it would be useful against SMG but the shields cant takes a lot of damage, plasma could easily knock them off just oneshot, the hover blades has no cover at all lose one and the bot will become unstable, fire power is enough but as i said all the parts are so easy to break. nice job anyway

so easy to kill this. first of all hovers are easy to loose as there is no protection for it and the guns are placed in such a way that sometimes the guns of back hit the guns of front.

This thing can take a beating and keep on keepin' on. It's hard to show how the EP's are laced together. You just have to roll your bot around like when you use the regular regenerator to spread where the damage goes.

Move some plasmas higher/lower or/and farther /closer to the body, cause when they fire the back ones will hit the fwd ones.
:)

Move plasma higher + lower? Move the plasma further or closer to the body? HOW CAN DO THAT MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

I meant move some of the plasma mount higher than the others OR lower than the other OR farther away from the body, so that the plasmas don't block each other when shooting
geddit ? :)

Looks very promising. Have you tested it in battle already?

It works pretty well. The only real trouble is trying to get all 6x plasma to hit the target if they're too low. I've noticed it takes a bit to knock off my hover blades due to them being surrounded by guns + being directly attached to EP.
