Venom

SMG Hover added 2 months ago

Well, Here is again a bot inspired by a ship from the most Pay-to-win game i've ever played (dark orbit), because the designs are cool, especially this one
Note that I stylized the design in my way tho, it also felt mandatory to make it way more thicc than the design from which it is inspired, otherwise it would be so fragile....
SO,
it was quite interesting to make that kind of shape for a hover, as it is, you may see, not very current in robocraft because not the first thing you think as optimal, but I managed to do it decently
The Venom is a tanky enough hover with the speed it needs, a thing that may make it lose it's stability is the kind of teammate just ramming you at the beginning of a match, or the teammate blocking you from escaping enemy fire *the salt*, but other than that, yeah it's fine, 9 hovers are packed in this thing, And I wa surprised bgy how well it was moving sometimes at 10% hp

Anyway, I may do a plane version in the future, that would be interesting
You can also find this hover on the CRF

It actually stands really good rail shots (because way thicker than the model you see on the thumbnail), the dangerous weapon for this thing would rather be plasmas with high dmg boost

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
