Marauder-Prime

SMG Hover added 1 year ago

This bot was developed after attaining P-5 and Lvl 150 with my Barracuda-BC6 Flagship, my previous successful bot. I wanted to try something new, something not as a support, but rather something more offensive. Then the Marauder came.

12 Tornado Hover Blades are enough to support the tough & heavy chassis, yet giving it an amazing top speed of 174MPH at OC1, 195MPH at OC4 & 225MPH at OC15.
7 Cheetah Thrusters provide decent forward acceleration.
10 Disintegrator Top Lasers give decent damage at any directions. 4 on top, 2 on each sides, and 2 underneath at the front.
3 Devastater Plasmas dish out extreme damage to quickly eliminate any weak enemies, while steadying at a controllable fire rate and thus giving a good energy management.

Pros:
Fast
Agile
Threathening
Great for close-range brawling.
Triforced (Hovers & Weapons)
Rodforced (Hovers, Rear 2 Lasers & a few other areas)
Every Hover is well-protected.

Cons:
All Thrusters exposed.
Because 5 Thrusters & 2 Hovers are higher-mounted than the rest, as well as a downward-pointing nose, hill-climbing is difficult & not advisable, although it is still possible.

Miscellaneous Information:
1 hardpoint for League Badge/Robot Name Banner. Can also be removed and the hole can be filled to maintain the general visuals of the rear.
I have several of screenshots of the Marauder as top score and top damage.
The Marauder is inspired by both the Infinity Guardian IV by DARYLCARLOS, and by the Marauder in MechWarrior Online.

Climbing mountains is a pretty important ability, I think :T

But now that I think, not many heavy hovertanks can do that.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
