Dune Hunter

SMG Cruiser added 2 years ago

A little dune buggy-type car I made for lower level arena. I put 7 vaporizers on it, 2 puma thrusters inside and 4 panthers outside. It has pretty good speed and firepower for 833 cpu.

One thing I'm really pleased with is how well it takes on protoseekers. All those aero rods just stop the proto seekers cold. I might lose some blocks in the front, but that's about it.

I uploaded a fairly short arena battle video. Not my best arena, but they can't all be protonium worthy, right. Anyway, the point was just to show the Dune Hunter in action, and instead of trying to get more towers (which you should do), I drove it straight up a steep and jagged mountain with 3 enemies waiting at the top (which you should not do). Took on some protoseekers and mega plasma. I thought it was a pretty good showing of what this bot can do :)

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.
