Practical Robot

ElectroRapter

SMG Cruiser added 3 years ago

EletroRapter is a super stable SMG armed car. The twelve placed wheels allow for controlled movement at critical damages. The significant elevated between triple gun platforms allows for greater depression and high clearance for all guns. Go in and have good hunting. :)

gun counts are wrong (says 2!); other than that looks like a good strong T10 build! For a cruiser. Could use a few more guns just in case, lose a functionality point for that. I'd be willing to trade radars and jammers for extra guns. The middle 4 wheels aren't getting much benefit from being steering variety.

I ask where will you recommend extra guns should go.

Maybe convert the very front or top gun to TX. Otherwise with your design it looks like it would have to go further back, maybe little higher up, like on a tail spoiler. 7 or 8 guns all T10 should be ok.

The bot looks sick af but here is some advice to make your bot more useful
1) the big hump in the back of the bot (where the back 3 guns are) can be made to be 1-2 blocks high. 3 blocks high is a bit too high

2)Replace a few of the wheels with a few guns. You can also add a small gun stalk in the sides where you can put the guns

3)More guns, and less headlamps, of course :3

1)I put the guns 3 blocks high just so there would be full clearance between the triple gun placements guns that are behind each other. I get your point but I did it like this so all guns will bare effective fire when shooting down a hill and at very close range of a target.

2)I understand that point too. I had games were my guns get shot off pretty bad. The advantages of more wheels are that escape from a bad position is more possible with having more functional wheels, you will also move faster. The fact of having just 6 guns are also minimized by the fact that the overall blocks that I used will heal faster than regular cubes.

3)Can't a guy have some class T_T

With guns T7 and above, the minimum height increase for gun levels should be 2 blocks with 3 being the preferable on for them to shoot slightly downwards too. Frankly, SMG guns have a terrible hitbox while plasmas just fly straight through..

Yeah lol 2+ is the bare necessity for smgs to not hit each other's hitboxes. However in gunbeds I think 1+ is good because a gunbed has much more guns to take care of than normal smg bots, meaning gunbeds have to sacrifice armor/blocks for MOAR GUNZ

I feel like you should invest in less headlamps and 2 more SMGs. 6 is very low for T10.

Yahh I know, the headlights were just for the style.
