Axolotus

Plasma Bomber added 2 months ago

The Axolotus is a multi-role plasma interceptor with high maneuverability, speed, and thrust force. It costs 1,822 CPU and has a top speed of 207 MPH, excluding climbing and diving. Its total health is 2,051,612, and its total mass is 6,253.2 kg. It is best used against ground units and large unmaneuverable air units, though with enough skill can be used against other air units.

It has two nano constructors for healing allies, a single rail erazer and two tesla novas as extra weapons, and five C6 Plasma Devastators as its main weapon. It uses skis for landing. It's mainly powered by a Tomahawk Propeller (Giving it the ability to reverse), 10 Cheetah thrusters, and a few additional thrusters. It also has a couple panther thrusters on front for more vertical maneuverability. It has two Diviner Receivers, two Overwatch Radars, and two Blocker Jammers. It has a blink module for escaping.

A unique feature is that it only has one rudder, a Vampire Bat rudder, which is vertically mounted, it does not use any lift rudders. Its lift is provided by four vampire bat wings, which face in opposing directions. This gives it very high maneuverability at the cost of having no wing redundancy. It is very easily capable of flying straight upwards without stalling, giving it a high speed and a massive climbing advantage, which is helpful for getting above bombers and fighting copters.

The set of 5 C6 Plasma Devastators are its main weapon. Its main targets are ground units and unmaneuverable air units. It can be used against other air units too, but this takes more skill because it uses plasma. With the nano constructors it can quickly fly over to allies and heal them, and as it's a flier it's also helpful because it can heal friendly air units while they're in the air whereas ground medics can't. The best strategy against air units is to gain the altitude advantage which can easily be done by flying straight upwards. This will stop bombers and copters with bottom-mount weapons from hitting. From above it can damage copters and shoot their rotors off, and can shoot into bombers' possibly unarmed and unarmored top. It does not have bottom mount plasmas so it needs to dive to attack ground units. The rail can be used for an extra punch on enemies, while the tesla is best used if it happens to get close to an enemy and can maneuver towards them. Due to this plane having no wing redundancy, it is very vulnerable to rail, flak, and LOML.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".

Ok, got it! I want to place my vote now.
