Creative Robot

Insidias Fulgur

Interceptor added 2 years ago

Just a fun little interceptor I threw together.
It was originally going to be a creative build, but I was surprised to find it works.

The SMGs can hit any direction. Said SMG, the thrusters and rudders all have redundancy.

250-odd on-tier armor is actually surprisingly tough for a flyer in T4, this bot can 1v1 most T4 bots.

EDIT: Added plasma version. It's better as a whole, although less fun.

EDIT 2: This is the only bot I've submitted for the FJ shop contest, and it was accepted! Thanks to this little guy I got the 1k GC that allowed me to purchase my 4th garage.

EDIT 3: Added the pixel art I made that inspired this build.

Thanks! I personally have no problem flying this bot, and can usually fly it while damaged.

With the popularity this build seems to be getting, I'm considering making a tutorial.

Cool!
I agree with WagonWheels, it's like a flying manta. xD
As a bomber, he is not better?

No promises, I vary between uploading 3-4 bots a week to not uploading for 2-3 weeks.

Besides, I actually enjoy playing with the bots I built.

It probably probably would be better, but I like the way it currently is.

Thanks! It was actually based on pixel "art" from messing around in paint.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
