~{NEO TECH}~ Car-sled MkII "Mr Sharp"

Plasma Sled added 10 months ago

Like my previous design (link), this thing features:
-> Cruiser-friendly controls
-> No drifting
-> Sled speed.

Only that? No! For this is an MkII!
So what's new? Speed fixing!

Indeed, as you noticed on my last build, when turning, this bot had a MASSIVE slow down (from 220mph to 115mph at OC15 when making a 180 turn)

After some testing, I found out why that happened, the rudders cause the bot to tilt aside (which is normal, that's what rudders're supposed to do).
But with this fat belly and huge weight, this was impossible! so the bot "pushed" on the ground, thus slowing down!

So how to fix it?
MAKE IT BEND YEEE HAAAAWWWWW
Sorry, but it's the idea!
I basically added a keel on this thing xD

So that, the bot can bend over (not too much, we don't want it to make barrel rolls eh?), thus GREATLY reducing the turning slow down!
I can now make 180 turns at 170 mph! (OC15)

This looks very cool! I especially like the application of some of the cosmetic parts for extra flair.

Well... I thought you made it white/grey...

These colors... make t hard to understand... but when I'm looking at your thumbnail, it's way easier to see how it really is.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
