Catalyst - Carbon Multi-Role Combat Hover

SMG Hover added 2 years ago

We were long overdue for a fancy and expensive bot, so I present to you Catalyst. Designed to rush to the front and lead your team into battle, this bot boasts excellent protection and stability, as well as a good dps and all-terrain capabilities. In short, it is a mix of a light hover’s speed and agility, coupled with a heavy hover’s strength in guns and armor. Very effective in any combat mode :)

Pros:
- Excellent protection and gun redundancy, which is a great help in solo flanking assaults (which it is very effective at, see the picture of the stats), or in battling on the frontlines.
- Extensive tri and rod-forcing isolate damage and prevent damage from reaching vitals. Proven to fight with plenty of guns and near perfect stability down to 45% health. An example of the rod-force around the pilot is shown above, as well as a picture showing the hull after combat damage.

Cons:
- Overclocks slowly, so it only starts to get fast around Overclock six. Or maybe I just think 100 mph at Overclock one is bad :)
- While the damage reroute systems are effective against most attacks, it is weak against tesla’s.

This bot is available in the CRF for rental and/or purchase. Simply type CATALYST into the search bar. I hope you all enjoyed this bot, and stay tuned for more :)

Parts not in the cube manager:
9x Mk.10 Short Aerorods
2x Mk.10 Curved Aerorods
Also note that the counts for the Mk.10 cubes are estimated.

Nice design! Very well done :D
It looks very fancy, would look like gold if it was all carbonated.
Also, it has very unique design.

But despite having lots of redundancy, I noticed that you had only 2~3 guns at 59% at the picture above.
Are the guns triforced?
If then, I would very like to rent your bot.

Happy robocrafting :)

Yes, all the guns are tri-forced. In that particular battle, I was hit by a lot of plasma, so the AoE knocked a bunch out. Happens rarely, I just wanted to show the chassis after damage. Thanks for rating, and I hope you enjoy it when you rent it :)
