Eclipse Prototype

Ion Hover added 2 years ago

INTRODUCTION

What are the prerequisites,in the making of a great ION hover?

Is it Speed?
Superior Armor?
Or just plain Fireporwer?

Introducing the Eclipse Prototype.
A wonderfull hover tank, that excells in everything. :)

ARMOR SPECS

It's tanky design, grants the craft superior combat survivability.
A great advantage when facing smaller and less armored ION bots.
Hovers are located inside the craft's armor and thrusters have dedicated pods that keep them safe, other than just looking good.

WEAPONARY

Eclipse is armed with 2 ION Distorters that can turn everything in their path, into fine dust.
Furthermore,it comes equipped with 7 additional plasma ravangers, so even if you find yourself losing your IONS to enemy bots, you will still have the means to fight them back.

MOVEMENT AND SPEED

This giant is equipped with 5 (T) hovers and 4 (C) thrusters reaching a Max Speed of 201,5 MPH.
It can swiftly pursue the majority of enemy bots effectively.
Thanks to it's low hover height,Eclipse is invulnerable to Flak projectile detonation but as a side efffect, hill climbing can be tough.

AESTHETICS

The first thing to notice,is the craft's massive size.
Driving the Eclipse, will make you feel like a spaceship commander.
Everything from thruster pods down to the front cockpit were designed to be both practical and aestically pleasing.

CONCLUSION

This is a bot created with combat performance in mind.
Without any exaggeration,it achieves that purpose perfectly.

I want to apologize in advance for the color palette.
I'm sure the bot would look much better in a different paintjob.
But for the time being, this is the best that i could manage.
I hope you enjoy!
