Sabertooth

Rail Mech added 3 months ago

I had way too many masks in storage. One I didn't use was Sabertooth, so I decided to get creative.

Main body is composed of three layered horizontal frames, triforced.

Triforcing also assembles the sides.

Doing head and tail has been a little tricky because so exposed they are weak spots. I did what I could, again triforcing and rodforcing.

Probably tail can be further elaborated but I didn't like it to be too thick.

Six Erazer railguns pack a punch. I battle tried it and it was satisfactory. I am not 1st place because I am a lousy player to start with, too eager to go out in the open and shot. :-P

You can buy Sabertooth at the Factory.

Like what? Please be specific.

I don't go for megabots, I just went for a good compromise between power and health boost, the sweetspot after 2017-08-10 CRF 2.0 & Damage Boost Update. E.g. lower tier legs reflect this compromise. And although I have seen 4 legged beasts around I didn't copy any design. If anything the structure is more inspired by what you find on tanks.

The handling is not outstanding, but the results at battle end are consistent (good for the lousy player I am). If anything the structure is more inspired by what you find on tanks.

its not the performance at all. I find the whole body just too blocky

Ok, I'll try to make it prettier. I can't add too many blocks because I am where I need to be with damage boost at 63%. I'll see if I can widen the front and narrow the back (a little more like the real thing), it may also benefit in battle. Thanks!

Made it a little rounder. Anyway couldn't add too many blocks because they start getting in the way of front railguns. Check it out, newest Sabertooth version at the Factory.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.
