Always a fan of hybrids and this one is super unique looking

I guess I'd want to understand exactly how this bot would be played, at the moment my thoughts are if you need to be a dedicated medic you've got to expect that you're going to be target number 1 (if the enemy team has any sense) but this bot, does look like plasma etc would really rip through it's structure, a lot of exposed CPU, and rod connections make me doubt how effective this might be, especially under fire. Most days it's my opinion the medic has to last longer than the bot he's healing OR be mobile enough that he doesnt get hit.

With hybrids like this, hovering dropping down in an instant etc seems like a tall order just know the mechanics of this kinda setup.

Let me know I'll happily come back for the practical rating!

Its kind of a unique playstyle, using cover and a lot of situational awareness. I haven't seen anyone else use it effectively so practicality is hard to judge.

The cosmetics work mainly against plasma, because they only have one cubes worth of armor but cover a huge surface area. Its kind of like a landing pad, an umbrella to absord damage and direct it away from crucial components.

Bot lacks versatility: the new meta allows weapon-switching, so even putting an smg or two would give this bot decent capping speed. Heck, putting a single plasma devastator would give this bot decent firepower and good capping speed for the late game for the low-low price of 30 CPU.

The fallacy with this bot is timing: I would bump around a 9 or a 10 if this were made before Epic Scam, since every good player is exploiting the new weapon-switch feature. It also doesn't help that auto-regen is so bloody fast for the new meta, that utility-only based build (such as yours) automatically loose their past demand and credibility. Most notabley on higher-tier play. Do you remeber a time in robocraft when there are players who say 'ty' for their heals? How often do you see that being said during the this new meta?

Never hear it anymore. This bot is not meant for BA. It was designed with TDM (old) in mind.

Firstly, I can see the true agility behind this bot, and with high potential for heal rate in conjuction of a present power module, I see how well you portrayed the mentality during your building process. Also, nice use of masks.

I disagree with the rod forcing on this build, because it looks like you try to make an even split between triforcing and rodforcing. AoE sources like plasma can make quick work of it, and considering how the meta is to the brim with plasma... well you get the drift. I would propose images of the chasis, so I can make observations on how well you it can absorb damage.

The bot looks so elongated that it looks easy to chop it in half, which might really mess up this build if the as the aero foils and rudders are so far apart. However, that was probably a designed on purpose, since elongated planes do tend to have smooth mobility, in which this build is certainly made for!

Do argue if you think I'm biased here. Trust me, that bot looks awesome, but I might be afflicted by my own playstyle preferences that don't seem to collide so well with your perspective.

Rod forcing underneath, for extra support, with a solid core on top, one layer of triforcing on top of that, with cosmetic armor for a plasma umbrella. Damage is directed around the core using the wings as damage syncs, which are triforced separately.

Your right, rodforcing is weak to plasma, but the bottom doesn't take hits, as its a low flier, and spends equal time on the ground as in the air. Such rodforcing prevents the build from being cut in half, which is essential for the narrow design. The tail is rodforced and attached directly to the core, With a mix of Rodforce and triforce surrounding tail and tail rods.

The Cosmetic placement is Great!
Unfortunately, the weapons aren't very effective standalone.
Also, more external armor is needed in places that aren't covered by cosmetics.

I do sometimes wish that it had a plasma attached, but the burst heal is definitely worth it. As for Armor, the build is so versatile it rarely takes any damage.

I do have one with a LOML, I'll have to upload it sometime. kixeye's war commander seems like a cool game, I'll have to try it out sometime.

the game is literally hands down one of the best browser games i ever played. only sad things is is that veterans like me suffer from the current thing that it is. they made new units in late 2015 that completely outclass the older ones. forcing vets like me to work our ass off to get them with some grind while we are getting pounded. such trolling :P

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
