Hephaestus

Rail Copter added 1 year ago

Crippled god of fire, metalworking, and crafts. Hephaestus used the fire of the forge as a creative force.

In this support role he is a viable rail who can easily move around the battle field, get into advantageous positions and from far afield take out critical targets such as medics and bombers.

Features:
- The front is wonderfully tri-forced.
- Its layered like a cake with the seats connection points holding them together
- Good thruster coverage.
- 4 ROTORS = Stable platform for railing when flying.
- Good no scope coverage.
- I avoided EP's as they make you stand out, black carbon cubes to hide details. I've won many one on one rail fights.

Motivational thanks to W4RM3CH4N1C.
In CRF now. Comments and further development advice appreciated :)

Nice designs as always buddy!

If you're struggling with plasma to the rear rotors then perhaps remove/replace a few curved rods due to their larger hitbox?

Looks good but has the standard rotor setup which is extremely vulnerable to OCed Plasma

yeah that's a good point. I've been having a few probs with that. Any advise on the rotor set up? its the thing I'm least happy about.

I was thinking of removing one rotor from the bottom, centralizing the remaining on (to maintain stability) and using the freed up CPU to strengthen the rotor connections etc..

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.
