Tardigrade

Medic Drone added 1 year ago

Tardigrades are notable for being perhaps the most durable of known organisms; they are able to survive extreme conditions that would be rapidly fatal to nearly all other known life forms. There famous for having been able to survive the vacuum of space.

So likewise, this is a sturdy, quick and maneuverable TX-1cube medic.
- 7 nano- guns for good coverage and bit of redundancy.
- tri-forced core, so still flies at less that 30%.
- mk4 and mk6 thrusters.
- Great handling, very rare rudder bug.

In shop now, while stocks last :)

Creepy xD

It's a little too blocky, but this is supposed to be more practical, right?
It worked fine way back then, but nowadays that amount of helium gets you killed.

Question about triforced builds: What is the best spot to connect the inner core to the outer core?
Sheep_wielder
very good question and one that puzzels many people. In theory you want it at the futherest point from where you ae likely to get most of your damage (ie the front/bottom). And by furthest, I mean the most number of cubes that the damage has to travel through before getting to your core. But you also don't want this to be just one point because all the damage will go there and pop everything drops off at once. On this build its at the top around the pilot seat. In fact if you can make it so that different parts of the robot go to different connection points on the pilot seat this is best. Hope that helps, but they are removing pilot seats on thursday.

Thank you, this puzzles me a lot. Usually works good for me if I put the points on the sides, in between the movement parts.

Yeah that would work as the hit box of the movement parts takes the damage first.

Also be sure ot check out my news drone http://robocraftgarage.com/robot/agnwEFLM :)

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
