STARCRAFT BATTLECRUISER T3-2

Rail Drone added 1 year ago

Starcraft's Batttlecruiser is now ready and waiting for your command.
Yamato Cannon online!

SHIP CHARACTERISTICS:
Ship name: STARCRAFT CRUISER T3-2
Tier 3, RR 29K
Main Weapons: 2X Mk4 ail 2X Mk5 Rail
Length: 18 cubes
Max Altitude: 2.5 ship length from ceiling in test map.
Forward Propulsors: 4X Mk3 1X Mk2 thrusters

CONTROLS:
*SPACEBAR to elevate
*HOLD SPACEBAR to elevate at maximum altitude
*SHIFT to descend if you need to hide or capture a base
*Q to spot enemies
*Basic Forward and Backward controls

TIPS:
The way to play rail gunner is to remain hidden. And use your Yamato cannon for long range strikes.

*Stay behind ally lines and assist them with attacking busy bots because busy bots wouldn't see you. Or just spot enemies for allies until they become occupied. Be weary of other planes, shoot them down if able.
*Use your super fast speed and maximum height to remain hidden
*Use mountains to remain hidden when reloading

Much engineering was put into this to make the ship fly well and high, enjoy!

As the battlecruiser captain would say "Battlecruiser operational" , "I really must go now"

(see also my Star Trek Series on Robocraft, the scout plane is really good too)

I got a bigger one, for Starship Voyager; however, the bigger the ship, the less RR and cubes I get to make the ship more viable. (less armor, less speed etc) 18 cubes is a good size to detail, aesthetics and practicality. Unfortunately trade offs exists. Can't have cheap, luxurious and fast..they conflict

Luxurious & fast can perfectly mix up, yuno bout triforcing?
But cheap factor... uhm, i can't help u on that one.

coloring can be a bit better, nice framework otherwise. Your guns should be on top if you are a rail because bottom mounted guns cant shoot up.

That's all there is to say? "coloring can be a bit better".... it was an engineering feat to meet all the ship's characteristics! ok, I agree....need to put those thrusters somewhere else and still be practical.

There, aesthetics updated with minor improvements to system stability. Sure was difficult. I'll upload it in a min.
