"Barrage" Mortar mech

SMG Mech added 3 weeks ago

With current stats of mortar increasing gun depression is the most important part in building. Most of mortar bot designed around a mechanism to allow lower fire angle.

After several tests I decided to use three mech legs to get the tilt, this allows the mortar gets at least 0 degree shooting arc. However there is a methods to reach even further depression angle. By holding crouch button and move forward this bot can reach -20 degree arc. What happens here is the propellers provide a vector that force the bot to tilt more when crouch. This mechanism above allow this bot shoot and detonate mortar in point blank.

As usual vertical rudders and propellers increase jump speed, which up to 280mph on this bot.

Propeller + 3 leg + mortar + wing.
If you place the mortar in the center, these types of robots are all alike.
There is no space to place wings on the ceiling for smg mounting....

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.
