UCB Flagship

General Robot added 2 months ago

It's been 2 years since i haven't published something here, it feels weird. Seems like during that time this website kinda died unfortunatly, it was such a great place, anyways.

By looking at my old pictures, i've found 2 bots that i needed to publish long ago, they were part of my Virus timeline, so i've decided to publish them today and finally finish my bio and my experience with Robocraft/Robocraft Garage.

(I've still have 2 final bots after those ones, these will be my final creations, and i'm pretty proud of what i've done with those two! They are complementary and they are inspired from Bleach.)

This bot design is pretty good. Now that i look at it i think it could be a lot better, but by doing this i would have destroyed the whole purpose of this bot, which was to transform my old logo into a good combat robot, used mainly in platoons, and i succeded.

Combat wise, this bot needed to be protected, otherwise it was really easy to degun and make it worthless. It needed constant healing for the guns, but only for the guns as this was a really sturdy bot, capable of taking massive hits and still be "functionnal" even at very low health. It's really just like a real flagship, weak alone, strong together!

Was made to work with UCB Defender.

For the 10 peoples that will see this, hope you enjoy it!

Fairly sleek design, with a nice use of struts. While the colour scheme could consist of more than just black, the overall design looks good! :D

This bot did had a bit of red when i created it, but i've taken those screenshots when i've had just finished it, so this is why it's all black, my mistake!

Thanks for the rating!

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
