Wallrider

SMG Sled added 1 year ago

This is my very compact and really fast bot that is designed only for capturing towers and destroying the enemy reactor. In actual fights it is pretty much useless unless you have the element of surprise. It has a Ghost Module so the bot could sneak past enemy lines. It also has the ability to ride up walls, even the vertical world border.

Only destroying enemy towers and their reactor yields a surprisingly large amount of points. I am almost always first on the leaderboard with this bot. So as long as your teammates can hold off the enemies, you should be able to win. I have also included some gameplay with this bot.

When playing with this bot, be sure to avoid enemy contact whenever possible. Try to attack towers that don't have many enemies near them. Always peek around corners and be ready to use your ghost module. Use the terrain to your advantage, the Wallrider is able to go up terrain very fast. Using the downwards thrusters is recommended most of the time. When your forward thrusters are gone, but the front part is still intact, then you can slowly move forward by alternating the left and right thrusters. And of course, if you didn't already know, only shoot the crystals that connect to the tower/reactor.

I can say it's a great robot, I buyed it... And I don't regret... Ok piipiz said it's a coward gameplay, but for example I played a Battle Arena and I was first without any kills, just by destroying myself ennemy Reactor.

This playing style is cowardly, and this isn't that creative or good at what it is build for.

only good thing about this is, that it is low cpu. almost anyone can try this if they have the parts/money.

Sure, it's cowardly and not creative at all but I think it is very good at what I built it for. All the protonium crates I got don't lie.
