The Minis

Rail Cruiser added 1 year ago

I've reworked some of my favorite cars into rail cars with power modules and a hover inside. To compensate for the high cpu cost of the module, I had to make the cars shorter by 2 blocks. I think I kind of like the shorter versions better and they are really fun to drive.

I basically started using rails because after the epic crap box update my smg's seemed broken (I know they just got a fix though) and my plasma seemed weak. I found for me rails were my new weapon of choice.

I started using hovers inside to compensate for the horrible steering my wheels had after the update. This gives cars great turning and lets them climb really well, and I don't need steering thrusters anymore.

Anyway, that's the story of the mini cars!

Like I said you have some talent for Designing cars. These many cars even though you had to shorten them by two blocks I think it makes them look a little bit cooler. And the fact that you used Hummers inside your car to compensate for the bad steering from the wheels that was ingenious. So hats off to you my friend for solving some engineering problems that I've been witnessing. I don't much like rails though I've never been able to really fire them while in combat. As I said before I'm more of a spray and pray type of driver and shooter. My skills are lacking when it comes to come back but I think I do pretty do when it comes to designing my stuff. And the fact that people like yourself inspire me into doing better. As always you have a fan and Excalibur 1969 hope to see you on the battlefield guns a-blazing.

The blue one looks so sleek and satisfying, at least from the sides, but not so cool from the top x.x

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".

Why do one want these points?

After receiving about 100 total amount of votes the user will get a chance of being promoted to "Approved Reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Approved Reviewer?

As an approved reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Approved reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Ok, got it! I want to place my vote now.
