Judgement Mode

Tesla Viper

Tesla Copter added 9 months ago

First Version of this robot design. Main primary purpose was to use teslas to cap towers, because the towers could protect you while you were capping them. Use full camera steering, including camera tilt, and maneuver around the map avoiding shots. A cloak module is in the core of the bot to center the mass and health. When cloaked, you can slide along the ground better than any other surface cause of the rotors. When you slam into someone with the teslas, look down, and it will slam itself into them. When confronting an enemy while cloak is deactivated, you can strafe to avoid shots, and the tri-forcing still allows your teslas to remain intact, fire plasmas until you are in range to tesla them.
If you don't like fighting on the ground, you can tesla in the air and bombard enemies on the ground with the plasmas.
My goal with this bot is to be adaptable to every fighting scenario, look great while doing it, not die while capping, and have nanos of course.

Downside to this bot, I have not had many other players use it and give me feed back. From those who have tried, I have understood that it requires a very unique ADHD like playstyle to use effectively. If you use it, please let me know how well it works for you. I am a really good pilot to this bot and it takes a lot of practice to get used to it.

Just wondering how are the tesla's on the side meant to hit anything unless the nano's and plasma's blocking it are shot off?

When you are charging face-first into an enemy they will be shooting at you. The plasmas/nanos protect the side teslas in someways when the front ones are shot off. When the bot is torn to shreds, bits and pieces of it are left, including the side teslas. Any good escape bot has a core of final health to get away, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't defenseless. To answer your question, you kill players with them when you are severely damaged, and if you've ever been in a situation where you have no health and the guy you almost killed has no health but neither of you have weapons, that is what those are for.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
