DB10 Project-G MkI

Rail Mech added 5 months ago

Compared with the conceptual system, improved motility and stability. Add a dsm to provide perfect protection while solo with other rail bots(at the same time energy decreased :/)
Put propellers on both right and left sides so it can lateral fly.

max speed: level flying| lateral flying| walking
OC1 225 210 155
OC15 245 215 155

Still don't use it as a drone.

Instructions
Quit mech legs' control mode before flying
As you can see, after a bot with mech legs jumped, it won't move normally(how can it turn without thrusters XD). That's because of mech legs' special programs. If you wanna fly, you have to quit this control mode. Just discontinuous press " " untill the bot's balance broked, then legs' control mode wouldn't work anymore.
Fly straightly
Project-G's control system has some differences with normal drones. It's upward thrusters and propellers provide both front and upward accelerated speed by making moderate pendular movement. So don't always hold "W" or " " while flying, discontinuous press " ", and at the same time add "W" and "S" to correct direction.
Stabilize the bot
While flying, it usually cause some pendular movements. Press opposite direction keys to stabilize the bot(eg. press "A" while the bot's pendulum to right side). Press " " while the pendular movement comes to its midpoint also works. However, if the pendular movement is too serious to fix, don't be hesitate, descend at the first time.
Other important things
1.Don't keep flying too long, it's not a real drone, the stability can't support long flight time.
2.Don't try to turn the bot while lateral flying, or the max speed will decrease to 130(because of propellers' preheat :/).
3.Don't try to solo with LOML or AA or PSK.
4.Don't forget to use dsm and find bunkers, the bot is not hard.
5.(caution) This bot is just an artbot and only for amusement. If you are new here, you'd better not buy it.
6.(most important) GL&HF XD

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".

Ok, got it! I want to place my vote now.
