"Overkill" Mega rail mech

Rail Mech added 3 months ago

Taken on the popular mega rail bot concept, I tried many different movement combinations to find the most suitable setup for this bot. From the test battles I have run so far, the ability to climb up hills and cliffs are not that important compare to the movement speed, which help rail bot relocate fast and take more advantage of terrain, also escape from danger.

By using vertical rudder and propeller, the speed while jumping has been greatly increased, both forward and backward. Mech legs also provide considerable amount of HP in the same time.

4 rail piercers installed as secondary weapon, I find they are very useful on finishing low health target and close quarters fight.

CPU: 1,005
Damage boost: 59.58%
Base health: 854k
Health boost: 33%
Base speed: 147MPH
Speed boost: 12.72%
Mass: 10,393kg

It's in CRF all the time. In order to see you need all the cosmetics pieces on this bot .

As with all your bots it looks good and the little rails as back up are a nice choice. I find the leap is extremely ussful for dodging plasma, which will be the worst counter for a bot like this.

Thx for the comment, vertical rudders make sprinter legs completely out of usage, since mech legs can jump non stop with over 200mph :|

60% dmg boost... this is necessary to get a "mega feel" on these poor mega rails... energy consuption should be around 4500...

Mega rail is relatively in a ok position, though the useful setup for this weapon is very limited :b
