Flying Mini Latias

Medic Flier added 1 year ago

Well, I was inspired by a robocraft builder by the name of MasterCheez, who he built a Latias medic hover. I was inspired and built this cute lil' flier.

It's pretty small and serves best as a support role. Also, it is rather easy to fly. As with my other fliers, there are Tier 8 (Puma) thrusters inside the aircraft.

This was my first Latios/Latias inspired build. I hope you like it! ^^

Oh, and the blue headphones are just a personal touch. Jamming to music as you're flying. (get it? radar jammers... nevermind)

Awesome build.

However, in the current state of the game, You'd do better if you replaced the small smg with the biggest variant, (the one with still just 1 connection point, not the huge one with 3 legs.) and replace those nanoguns with plasma cannons.

also, Those radar jammers are pretty useless, I'm pretty sure radars don't even reach high up, + nobody uses them anyway.

Thank you! ^^ I would have fitted out the smgs with the largest one, but due to size constraints, I had to stick with the hornet SMGs, which sucks :/ So... this makes this craft more of a mid tier support medic plane.

Plasma cannons... some reason, i thought that Latios should have the weapons and fight while Latias should help out the team with healing. No idea.

As for radar jammers, I thought they looked cool. (also back then, I needed some way to increase CPU... :P)
Again, thank you! ^^

Pokemonnss ;D The bot looks prety good, and similar to Latias, but the nanos and flyers really dont match man.

Thanks ^^ I used nanos as I didn't really think any other weapon matched well... ^^'' There are a few smgs... but I suppose that doesn't really help at all :P

not bad, not bad at all. i know robocraft can sometimes make rounding a somewhat difficult thing but, you could have used rounded inners and edge rounds to make the limbs etc somewhat smoother. since latias isn't exactly square.

Thanks! ^^ Although I'm not too big of a fan with the round parts so I stuck with prisms (Kind of the style MasterCheez did as well), but it is a nice idea to try. I have seen a few bots on the market that do look really nice with rounded inners and edge rounds.

The problem with rounds for me is that it never gets to the right curve- it seems to edge off at the wrong time or create bumps in the bot. I guess with the limbs it would've been better... but I just thought it would look a bit more sleek with prisms. :/ Ah well, it is a nice idea to try. Thanks again ^^

to add curved blocks, you need to put the "pyramid" cube that is rounded, I forgot the name, but the round side against a round cube, and it becomes like a normal cube from the front, except now you can add rounded cubes too, because they blend in.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say >.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
