Rail Walker added 3 months ago

Command Wolf painted in its Attack Custom colour scheme with additional side plating to the double 250mm cannons, which is unique to its design.

First variant of this design that I've seen to use sprinter legs, and if they were just slightly bigger, it would be perfect! The head seems a bit too big though, and while the cockpit integration is smooth, the rest of the head just seems thick and big when compared to the model. The main body and turret look awesome though, and could look better if the turret barrels were extended and the rear plates were just kept straight instead of angled. Overall, this is one of my favorite interpretations of this design though, so great work!

I have messed about wiht the barrel length a lot to try and get it to scale with what it actually looks like in the instruction booklet I've been using, with how large/thick RC's 'barrels' are it doesn't look quite right when you extend them to full length, do feel free to mess around with it if you ever purchase the bot.

I will however take into account using 2D Diagonal Struts instead of the 3D ones, thanks for the suggestion. ^^

Yeah, the head does look a little thick, the cockpit cosmetic itself doesn't allow for closely integrated blocks like that, so I had to make do.

There's a lot of little details I just couldn't fit in with what RC allows, such as panel lines, the barrels being hollow, the detail pipes being a white/silver-ish colour etc. As well as the scale of the bot I had to take into account when building both this and the Zero Liger.

I'm hoping to use what I've learnt from this build in particular in future megabots, as I've refined them to be more functional rather than just hollow spaces. An example would be the Command Wolf having both legs and hovers, allowing it to climg steep cliffs like insect legs would.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?
