Left Right Goodnight

Plasma Copter added 2 years ago

Finally red! ^^

Heavy weapons choppa unit thingy

-mega plasma and mega smg combo
-perfect gun clearance
-heavy armouring and rodforce on guns
-Ep on hardpoint of guns to eat the occasional rail
-power booster for more plasma
-8 rotor redundancy (can fly easily on 2)
-internal up and down thrusters for hit n run/evading flak

Well seeing how mega weapons actually have some decent hp on them now i decided to make this thing. Long range ability of mega smg for backup + the huge dps of the plasma cannon = fun. Seems that having more than one of mega guns is now completetely pointless as they eat so much energy. Takes damage and deals it well. Feedback is appreciated

The paint job looks a bit off... :P
Overall structure looks great, although using both mega weapons drains a lot of energy, so SUPER SUPPORT unit!

yeah its best at support/long to medium range. The mega smg can shoot for pretty long with the booster module tho

wut?!?lel, I thought you were already 150, but you are still stuck on 119..xD;I am already past 140.....just 9 more levels to go.....hmm...*gives out some cookies first*, ahem, so It might be a bit bitter...but mega weapons are not much effective due to their super high power usage and super low fire rate, they are only effective if you manage to score a direct hit on the enemy...

well the mega plasma doesn't really need a direct hit. the smg is only used as backup/ sniping and can actually shoot for quite long due to the power booster. Anyway, cheers dude ^^

Looks quite interesting :)
Will you be planning on adding more weapons to the bot when you get more CPU?

Hm, what are these EPs for though?

I think I heard that like this, damage is first conducted into the EPs, and only then into the gun. That right?
If so, I might try that myself x)

Every weapon in the game has 30% resistivity and blast protection. This means that EVERY weapon only take 30% of the total damage from rails and plasmas. This means that the leftover 70% damage goes into your connection points. If the connection point can survive a rail hit (for instance if you place the weapon on a mech leg or Electroplate that you see right here),the weapon itself that gets shot can survive 1 or even 2 railshots and more plasma damage if it hits the gun directly. This is why mech leg spam with guns on them are OP as hell.Thank got that PSK exists now.
Now this build here could've been done better,if the mega weapons were on rods instead of blocks for two reasons:
1.If they hit the blocks around the connection points, the gun will get destroyed regardless.
2.If they hit them with rail/plasma the two connection points will not survive as a block has less armour than a rod, therefore using rods on the two leftover connection points would grant a higher chance for the gun's survival.

High protonivity items like mega plasma and smg have a chance to let dmg just go straight through to the hardpoints, so ep has a 1/3 chance in absorbing all that dmg..i think that's the science of it. All i really know is that sometimes when rails and plasma hit my guns, they destroy the ep first

Not really op just something people have been doing a long time it works on other weapons too ie: ion distorters. What it does is when the weapon gets hit a certain percentage of damage is redirected from the weapon to the blocks with the Ep more damage is absorbed. Not only this but when weapons are shot of a third of the damage is redirected to the Ep meaning the bots main body doesn't absorb as much damage.

I've fought a bot similiar to this it crippled my mech and if I didn't have a blink module to get close enough to cripple it I would've lost, mega plasma is definately effective when used well.

flak,ION and loml have a 100%/100% resistivity and barrier actually, be careful they absorb all the damage from anything that hits them, unless they've changed it in the last patch no dirty tricks XD but it is actually super difficult to find updated info on those values, now. anyway GG Wheels for making it to Red! the fact is I have no idea how much of a health pool they are against the 81k papa rail does, but it sure helps against anything else that does less burst damage

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".

When should I vote a comment as constructive though?

Why do one want these points?

After receiving about 100 total amount of votes the user will get a chance of being promoted to "Approved Reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Approved Reviewer?
