Rod core railer mk.2

Rail Drone added 1 year ago

Rod core railer walker chopper thing

-Now with vents...
-compacted
-faster
-tanky
-dual mobility
-600+ chassis (including aero-rods which are stronger and lighter

Refined the mk.1 a bit. Still some work to do on this bot but it walks much better now with the underbelly rotors being raised (required an entire rebuild to fit them Dx) The bot now has steering and lift thrusters as backup and looks much cleaner. I used robot banners to make the effect of vents in the chassis. Constructive criticism is appreciated :)

Aero rods are weaker then traditional blocks. They regenerate faster though. Nice creativity.

that's a pretty low rating :L This bot still has over 500 normal chassis to go with it and the rods are lighter which makes flying easier and faster. Alas it is probably hard to show how tanky a bot is without a vid. the rods provide a strong framework and protective shell for the core and allow for good placement of equipment

Seems good, rods are good for plasma splash because the rods pop off instead of your main body :)

Yeah it takes plasma pretty well. the rods route damage to avoid loosing clumps of chassis
