BRI-SkyScratcher

General Robot added 1 year ago

Hello y'all, BR here again.^^

This time i've got a somewhat special build for you, the BRI-SkyScratcher.
You see, this is the first bot i've specifically built for someone else. This person said he was in need of a good Heli, so i took a shot at making one, and it turns out it's pretty darn good.

Rather than armor or intricate triforcing, this bot lends it survivability from it's open spaceframe and large number of connections, plus some redundancy of some parts. Thanks to this lightweight frame, along with the extra thrusters on the back, the SkyScratcher is also very fast and nimble.

It has been confirmed that this bot has sustained 3 plasma volleys, 4 rail shots and some SMG spray whilst still remaining in combat state. The "client" has been very pleased with this bot so far.^^

This bot works equally well with SMG's, Nano's or Plasma's, and can be found in the RoboShop, both as completed bot or just as a blank frame, as a more low-budget option.

Hope y'all like it, be sure to give it a try.^^

Lovely looking bot! Love the concept and overall design, the ONLY reason I mark down the practicality is due to under-tiered rotors, totally understand the aesthetics but it's a lot of CPU tied up in something which has half the health of the MK10 rotors you also have on there, but lovely bot great work!

Thanks for the rating and feedback.^^
You have a good point there, the lower tier rotors weren't added for aesthetics but more for RR reasons. From the start this thing was meant to be a 10k robot, so that explains the mixed tier SMG's. The big rotors are mk 8 rotors btw. ^^

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?
