Y-Wing

Plasma Bomber added 1 week ago

Adding to my Star Wars collection XD

This flies really well and I think is pretty faithful to the overall proportions of a Y-wing. The red helium on top represents an astromech droid, and there is landing gear. There is space for a module in back. In TDM I put on heavier plasma. Basically does fine for an art bot :)

I reworked my X-Wing and TIE Interceptor too. Never got around to fixing them when wings changed. Now they fly again :D so I just stuck those extra pics at the end.

Nice Build. One thing i would recommend is make the engines/thrusters a little longer. In most pictures the tiny bars that come out of the engine are about the same length as the engine itself. Other than that it's really accurate.

Although I doubt this was built for practicality, the movement parts were cleverly hidden away to preserve the full aesthetic. It looks very close to the original. Nicely done!

Meh, I wouldn't go in a real fight with it, but the design is simply awesome ^^ on a practical side tho, I wouldn't rate above 6 but hey, that's not supposed to be super practical I guess ^^'

6 is probably about accurate. I take it into TDM a lot because I just love seeing it fly. it's kinda tanky so it has that going for it, and I use plasma devastators to unload quickly and then get out of enemy fire.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.
