Asgard Mk1

SMG Tank added 2 weeks ago

A light tank for Tier 3 that I made. This tank is one of my favourite designs in a long time. It looks good and fights quite well IMO. The reason for it being small is due to FJ planning CPU limitations for tiers for the distant future. T3's CPU limit is planned to be 1500, so it's small in order to fit within this limit.

I was inspired by the "Lightning Hoods" in a game called "From the Depths" to make this tank. The pointy, black, yellow and green design of the tank was influenced by their vehicle style. I was also influenced by ILoveDirt's "SandFish" heavy tank because it's one of my favourite builds of all time in terms of looks.

Like most of my bots it's a combination of aesthetics and practicality. It's not a omplete artbot, but not meta either. Enjoy :)

Pros
1: It's cute
2: It's got 8 guns, most of which are on rods meaning it is quite hard to de-gun
3: Durable for it's size
4: Versatile thanks to SMG being a good jack-of-all-trades weapon
5: Good at fighting other tanks thanks to the reinforced chassis
6: Low profile helps it hide well.

Cons
1: Small. Until CPU restrictions come in it's less tanky than the blockspam mechs that you can find at this tier
2: Slow. It's a tank, what did you expect?
3: Low profile means plasma bombers can disarm it more easily.
4: Tank tracks as a whole are wierd at the moment. Reversing over rough ground makes them spin out, and they suck with cam controls.

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.
