Heavy Bomber NRV-4

Plasma Bomber added 5 months ago

Stats :

HP : 1 971 516
ENERGY : 13 354
WEAPONS : 6 plasma (5 + 1 to keep max attack speed)
MODULES : No, but there is a spot for inside

Heavy bomber I made, I inspired myself by a base I saw on store.

The bomber has armor (2 plates front & 2 plates back), it works really well with the 3 front rotor + thruster.

It has a spot inside for module, if you want to put something like blink or emp.

It is triforced well, the plane is light & can tank arround 10 railgun / flak hit from each side before going down.

Feel free to test it and give me feedbac In Game : LETH4LITY, or post on the forum : https://robocraftgame.com/forums/topic/bomber-op/

Hope you'll like it

I don't want to be harsh here but this frame needs quite a bit of work. Ruggy makes a good point in upgrading the plasmas to maximize damage output, although the CPU is a bit close to the point where plasmas lose their effectiveness so... The frame looks resilient, I'll give you that, but that is partially due to the amount of foils just on the design. The thing that is killing me though is... why so many vertical rudders? Vertical rudders at this stage of the game are horrible, they reduce roll rates and just take up more CPU than you need. They aren't anywhere as essential as they used to be. You could honestly get away with 1 or 2 rudders if you had to have them, but this just seems like a waste of space. Otherwise, the design seems OK practically speaking.

While I'm pretty confident about it's tankiness I'm slightly concerned regarding the actual firepower of the craft. I would remove one of the plasmas and upgrade them all. Would also change the colour scheme and try making the bot a little more "fluid"; some points aren't aesthetically pleasing at all such as the two EPs in the back.

Lots of redundancy, i like the use of struts in the middle :)

The overall shape seems nice and smooth, however there are certain details I would like to point out:
The T7 Electroplates on the bottom might interrupt the aim for one or two of the plasmas, I know it's not a problem since Smart Weapons but the shield could have been better integrated into the design. Also would suggest using smaller electroplates on the back, the T4 stand out a bit. Other than that, decent design! :3

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.
