Peppercat

Plasma Hover added 2 years ago

While searching for more inspiration, I was drawn from my childhood!

Welcome back! This time, I've recreated Peppercat from the cartoon/game Medabots! A friend told me I should draw a cat, another told me I should try my hand at a robot. This was the result!

This artbot is a little different than the rest. First, it has a very dynamic pose (which I'm working on more these day). It has one Mplasma to deal exceptional burst damage, something to combat the nano healing most use against plasma, in addition to several high tier ones for emergencies. In addition, I had Peppercat wield a single medgun. Its heal per burst is low, but with such a high HPS, it should at least supply an ally enough to recover.

I've took care of minor details I've looked up and remembered; the eye shape was refined a little, and the ears are three layered to support the white area.

It excels in long ranged battles, supplying a slow but devastating burst of damage that even nanos cannot compete with. This allows the artbot to break an impasse of both sides, by damaging a bot beyond usefulness that it will break their numbers. Moreover, its nano is also an asset for allies, as they can receive minor healing, while I recharge my power bar for the next plasma barrage.

Like always, a long ranged fighter, but a deadly one at that!

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
