"Thundercracker" Fighter/Bomber

Plasma Bomber added 4 months ago

A traditional fighter/bomber plane, which capable of both bombing and dogfight.

The wing layout let aerodynamic center sits at the same spot of center of mass to enable maximum turning rate. The front wings further enhance the pitch up/down rate.

After the damage boost update, the damage curve between 750-1500 dropped very sharp. The current cpu of this bot has been reduced from (prototype)1400 to 1200, which increased damage about 12%.

Another tip, press space while turning to make sharp turning.

CPU: 1,204
Damage boost: 42.86%
Base health: 1,291k
Health boost: 33.93%
Base speed: 260MPH
Speed boost: 13.85%
Mass: 5,051kg

At first I didn't believe that the front facingwings can increase the pitching of the bot, as they rather made it harder before, but hey, it seems to work this way now! And your bot definietaly takes advantage of it, as well as of the edgy shape of the front wings :)

The whole bot seems well made and quite tough and the weapon placement allows player to attack from every side, which is very important for a plane.

I'd just increase the weapon count fir both weapon types by one, to get more redundency :)

Thx for the input, you can easily add three more guns on top (mirror position of the bottom ones), the reason I left those places empty is to give more damage boost to it ;)

Your Design is unique I like the way it played I saw how much damage it took in it was still able to get away and fly. That's some pretty good engineering when it comes to this type of stuff. You have a fan and Excalibur 69 hope to see you in the skies guns a-blazing

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.
