Practical Robot

Defending Champ

Rail Walker added 2 years ago

All inspirative rights go to SASEASASINI and his El Defendor. I thought i might make up for my last rail, wasnt bad, but rather, noobish. It was my first build so whatever. This is a lanship, it does have rails, and yes it is very good at defending. not good for running around, but u still do get a lot of rp, as shown. Have fun, hope to see somebody build it, if you like it let me know, give me feedback please. And most importantly ROBOCRAFT ON!

Orange cube = rail cannon
Cyan cube = walker leg

NOTE: seat is placed on 2 tx-1 prisms for extra safety, u may be the last one on a team for 30-60 seconds so u gota be prepared. And idk if anyone has done it before, but in the front to triforce a lil bit, i weaved inners, it looks pretty cool and seems to be effective.

In the future you should add more pictures that have different views of the bot with everything on, so we can see what it looks like from other angles other than just the one picture. But the bot itself looks real good. 1 mil RP is a good amount for one round. And this is a bot that stays just inside the shield right?

That is a sexy railer, great gun clearance, as long as it handles well this is a beast. Also just a small change on the bottom with the prism weave, along the skirting you should have the prisms facing inwards, it would just give you a bunch of extra connection points for free :)

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.

Trusted reviewer?

As a trusted reviewer you no longer need to write a comment when rating a robot. If you add a comment you will receive extra points. Trusted reviewer is not necessarily permanent, continous bad behaviour or lack of comments might get you demoted.

Constructive Voting

Hey, seems like you're about to place your first constructive vote. That's awesome! I just wanted to inform you a bit about it before you jump into voting though. You can vote on any comment accompanied with a rating as a "Constructive Review". This will give the reviewer a "Constructive Point".
