Dark Ronin

General Robot added 9 months ago

Dark Ronin, a old school broadside plasma hover, can be fitting with anything just about though. Strong against megalaser, but fairly weak against mortars and ions. And no, I'm not putting any pictures besides the thumbnail... Yes you'll have to watch the video...

Thanks, shields need some health boost if they are to become properly viable again.

"Luxury" hmmm doesn't look like a luxury robot. This also remind me of Rosefall's Paladin tank.

Care to give an example of a luxury bot then? And not every heavily shielded hover looks like a Paladin... As a matter of fact, I was inspired by LBHH's tempest, which was inspired by one of Cluly's old shielded hovers which far predates the Paladin.

Hmmmm maybe a vehicle with good health and good weapons like lets say leviathan. Maybe one that is complex like Cluly's Nerf bomb. Maybe the Thunder Cloud, or the H-wing. Luxury meaning: the state of great comfort and extravagant living. Hmmm great comfort in my opninion is getting the best score and winning :D so what score does it get ._. EDIT these references are all robots that were great and comfortable to use before their nerfs. Another might be an expensive robot cause "extravagant" living

You LITERALLY just explained what a meta bot is... Easy to use, aka low skill with high payoff. As for making a bot expensive, I have no idea what would be cheap and what would be expensive... I have millions upon millions of robits, and dozens of every part. Ever since crates, I don't think anything can be expensive... As for score and winrates, that's going to depend heavily on if the player has the skill to utilize an agility broadside hover. Even then, score is largely subjective. You can have the best strategy in the game, be the MVP and still get mid to low score. It's better to compare by feats, for example how many bots can a bot kill by itself? What kinds of bots can a bot take on by itself? Ect. But to answer the question, it top scores every game for me. But I always top score so that's subjective.

Now that i think about it those were meta bots. Im just thinking of something extremely practical because any robot can be practical for say if you have the right skill level. Now im just overthinking things, but what actually can be luxury in robotcraft cause their isn't much variety(AKA parts or machinary). Robocraft has kinda been going downhill in variety due to loss of triforcing and flattening of tiers making the game ehhhhhh. What im saying is luxury is high end kinda like in tiers luxury was T10 and TX-1.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?
