Star Trek

Plasma Copter added 4 months ago

So I was watching Star Trek, and this image of the Enterprise made in Robocraft using just a hover for the main saucer part of the ship popped into my mind. After the show, I decided to make this little tiny Enterprise, and I liked it.

I thought, "Maybe I can do a Bird of Prey.." So I made one, and I liked it. Well, I started making more and decided to link them with aero rods. Then I thought "It would be awesome to fight with these!", so I went with some rotors so that they could fly because, duh, spaceships. I equipped them with plasma for terrestrial bombardment. That first test, watching each ship individually shooting plasma was so cool.

Well, I took them into a few battles, and did well enough for what is really a rather weak art bot. One thing that really bothered me (besides flak) was I was having trouble with other flyers too. So I decided to put some lasers on the top for space (I know "air") battles!

To finish things up and make this art bot as battle ready as possible, I connected each rotor at 2 points for redundancy, and put a few hovers so I can move my chunk of blocks around when the rotors inevitably get shot off.

It's not real strong, but still fun to make, and fun to play with.

Constructive Points

Constructive points are what you get when other users mark your reviews (comment+ratings) as constructive.

When should you mark a review as constructive though?

If you answer yes to at least three of these questions you should definitely mark it as constructive; is the review..

  1. friendly?
  2. helpful?
  3. encouraging?
  4. well structured?
  5. fair relative to the CPU used?

Why do I want these points?

After receiving X amount of points you will get a chance of being promoted to "trusted reviewer". This promotion is done by a moderator if (s)he thinks your comment and rating behaviour is reasonable.
